Bring Light is designed to allow people to donate money to worthy causes all around the world. Its purpose is to make people want to give money to people because they feel like they know them. It’s a social networking site which should make people to make a big impact on people’s lives. It’s possible for people to donate to certain charities and then see how the money is being spent. It’s also possible to let your friends and family know about this donation.

Bring Light was founded in November 2006 by Melissa Dyrdahl and Drew McManus. The company is based in California, USA.

Unlike other charity websites this one is more conventional. You give money to charities rather than donating money to specific causes. You can however see what the money is being used for. As it’s a social networking site it’s possible to talk to your contacts about your donation and try to encourage support. It puts people in need in touch with these people who can actually help them. The minimum spend is just $5 which is quite small compared to other charity websites.

The site has a very nice look and feel to it. It’s very easy to use and you shouldn’t have any problem using the system. The design is very light and this makes it easy to see where to click. The site is split into a number of different sections, including charities, good causes and categories. The categories make it possible to find certain things to donate money to things that you are interested in.

You can browse the various good causes and charities on the internet without needing to subscribe or registry. However if you want to actually donate any money then you will need to registry and create an account. This is extremely easy and you just fill out a very short and simple form. You will just need to enter your name, email address and choose a password. You will be sent an email however you do not need to confirm this. You will automatically be logged into your account and you can immediately start using it. You can even start donating money straight away without having to do anything complicated.

BringLight is a charitable website and so is free to use. All of the money that you donate will get given to the charities in question. The site does have some adverts although these aren’t a major problem. It is strange to see a charitable website which had adverts but these are presumably to fund the running costs for the site.

BringLight is a nice website which is aimed at people who want to donate money to worthy causes. It’s great being able to do this on the internet because you can actually see where your money is going and how it helps people. You can spend time looking and choosing a good worthy cause to donate money to, this makes it easy to get absorbed in donating money.
